Ideas for a planter for a Mothers' Day?

"Thinking" of doing a planter type thing for my mum for mothers' day.... only problem is she is an avid gardener, whilst I on the other hand am not.

Any ideas/thoughts/tips would be most appreciated?

Also - have I left it too late?

Many Thanks

How about a herb planter?
We did this for a friend's wedding and they loved it. You can buy young plants quite cheaply. Don't put mint in though as it runs rampant and the roots 'strangle' the other plants.

You can also buy miniature daffs and crocus in pots that you could easily transfer into a bigger planter.

why don't you have a look at our dedicated Mother's Day page, there are loads of great gift ideas such as some amazing fruit, vegetable and flower prints, tickets to one of the big shows of membership.
