Brown lawn HELP!

We had some turf laid about 3 months ago we watered it daily for 3 weeks and didn't walk on it etc and it took beautifully but after the last hot spell it is a mess Dp thinks it will come back I don't.It is patchy green and brown Is there anything we can do?

lots and lots of water and lawen feed.

thanks misdee we spent our last pennies on it so i would have somewhere to sit wheni am home alone in the week so really want to revive it

it happened a lot where i used to live (new 'village' being built) was the summer it hot over 100deprees. the grass looked dead for weeks, they watered it daily (big sprinklers) and it regrew.
bte how much was your lawn? mine is a weed pit.

It is v small 4m x 8m and to have it all dug out and bone? put down then turf was 80 it looked lovely too til it got scorched
