how to take care of decking

we inherited some decking with the house, and last winter/summer i did nothing to it. it looks pretty tatty atm, and am hoping its not ruined. what do i need to do to revive it once the weather is warmer/dryer. i am guessing its a spring job.

its quite slippy out there atm, and i think it needs scrubbing and sealing again. where do i start?

You can buy stuff to clean it with to take off the lethal slipperiness (is that a word? doesn't look right). Also it can be pressure washed to bring it up cleaner.

We have some decking at the bottom of our garden which is partly surrounded by trees so ours gets really slippy and dirty.
