cleaning the patio?

Whats the best/easiest and cheapest way to clean the patio please? Ours is 10 years old and is looking a bit dingy.

Rent or borrow a power washer. Brilliant! We bought a cheap one second hand, DH did the patio, the back of the house, all our garden ornaments, the kids bikes... took him about 2 hours all told, he had a blast, DD had a blast, I sat and laughed a lot.
