Any recommendations for a good garlic and where did you order it from ?

Get mine in France I am afraid, always good. If you want it for keeping get the pink (rose) one.

What a 'good' garlic?

I just used any old bulb from the supermarket and got a brilliant crop this summer.

I got mine from the Isle of Wight Garlic Farm. It's not made massive bulbs, but it is a fabulous taste.

I planted purple whight from suttons last year which did very well.

I bought a big bulb from the greengrocer. Cost about 60p.

According to the old gents at our allotments, you plant on the shortest day and harvest on the longest.
