too many tomatoes!

I've got 3 window boxes of tomatoes on the roof tarrace. They have gone completely mad and there are too many to eat (even including extended family and neighbours). Any good ideas how to preserve them for winter? I was thinking passata, but that'a a bit boring...

Homemade ketchup? Very time consuming but gorgeous. Or some sort of tomato relish?

Tomato chutney (you can use green ones for this) -delicious.

I haven't got a particular recipe though as we just googled one last time we made it
