I've just harvested my first ever crop of Borlotti beans and I'm very pleased but I'm not exactly sure what to do with them. Can I leave them out and let them dry? I've left them for a day already and they seem to be turning slightly yellow.
I'd like to cook them up and make a bean casserole but I don't know if I have to do that right now or if I can wait a bit. (We're moving house in 3 days so I'd rather not get stuck into casserole making now. And yes, clearly I should have left the harvesting for another week or so, but I got a bit over-excited at the allotment.....)
any advice very welcome!
