membrane stuff for underneath gravel/woodchip?

i have one side of my garden whgere nettles and brambles growe quicker than i can get out to cut them down. want to lay some membrane down to kill them off, and cover with either woodchip or gravels, with some plants planted in there. but i cant find the membrane stuff. help!!

Try Wickes or B&Q - it's usually sold in rolls for a few quid. xx

cant find it on bandq site, wicks is too far away. really need an online place.
