I love lavender and yearn for huge pots of it through my garden but never seem to have much luck with it ... bought a pot the other week, have placed in sunlight, not overwatered etc ... and it's gone from the buds looking plump and moist to more like pot pourri on the stalk .. why??? what should I do??

Mine is looking pretty sorry for itself too, but I blamed that on the sweet pea growing over it. Think Ill cut my lavander now (for drying) in case it gets worse!

Try moving to a larger pot, or into the ground as long as there is good drainage.

Just read in times today its time to cut lavender back to the greenest shoot. Save cutting smell amazing in posy bags ( not that I've been organised enough to do that!!)
