I have a hyacinth just showing a new flower head...so should be in full bloom in AUGUST!!! (I only cut the old flower head off in May!)

And I have violets that are flowering now!!!

Is this unusual???

I have violas flowering now in a shady area and they are still being sold in the local nursery. Seems pretty unusual though, to me, for the hyacinth as most of mine have totally died back by now. Is it in a really shady, cool place?

its in a pot near my greenhouse...so partial shade. I looked last night and a second one is 'at it ' too!!!

The violets are woodland ones... and normally by now they have seeded from the spring, and died back...in the same place i have pansies and violas...but i've never had the violets carry on flowering!!!
