My pepper plants are developing little side shoots, do I nip them off like you do with tomato plants or leave them alone?

Have no idea but am interested in the answer as I have a couple of little chilli plants on the go

Leave them alone - you want them to bush out nicely.

Some people pick off the 'king pepper', which is the first one to develop in the centre of the plant, saying it makes the others develop better but I've never heard any really convincing arguments either way, nor seen a great difference myself.

Thanks Takver
