can anyone recommend a weedkiller thats cat friendly?

As the title states, I need to use weedkiller on an area of the garden however dont want to kill the cat! Any suggestions?

There is one called roundup which I know is safe for aquatics as I use it near our pond. It is basically salt apparently which you spray on the leaves which makes the weed thirsty so it drinks too much water and dies. You have to be carefull not to spray it on plants you want to keep though. Worked great for me.
