i planted out my earlies, they were called premiere, and grew lovely, earthing up every couple of days til they reached the top then let the green shoots grow. they are about 5 foot high now, abit droopy because the wind got them. any advise on when the potatoes will be ready?
i thought the green would flower, then when they had finished flowering, i would dig up the plants and find potatoes. is this right? no sign of flowers yet though
any advise gratefully received

5ft high - blimey! Well i think that you keep earthing them up until they flower which should be in next couple of weeks if they are earlies, then you dig them up 2 weeks after flowering.

You could always poke about one of them to see whats happening underneath.

Must say I am amazed at 5ft high.!
