I'm a completly clueless when it comes to gardening so forgive me for my lack of knowledge.

I've just planted those seeds in a seed tray in potting compost (I think), watered them slightly and put them in the conservatory where it's quite warm in the day.

Have I done it right and will they be successful?

Should be absolutely fine.I know that aquilega in particular will grow outside from seed at this time of year-my garden is full of it-none planted by me all self seeders.

hollyhocks s/be fine also.

i'm taking a risk and planting courgettes outside from seed in the next few days...

I've planted some outside straight in to the soil but the packet did say to do that. Hopefully they will be ok.
I've also planted some in a tray but they have been drowned some what so I don't think they'll survive.

My garden needs some colour desperatly.
