Can anyone recommend somewhere I can get hold of growing tubers? There supposed to be really easy to grow and as they're so delicious and so pricey too I though they'd be an excellent allotment crop this year.

I got mine from Thompson & Morgan by mail order.Be warned though, they spread like wildfire & are very hard to get rid of.I'm still finding them 3 years after I last planted them.

I'd ask on your allotment if anyone has any spare tubers-I'm sure someone will donate some.

Thanks Mirage. Checked out T&M and it looks like I might be too late for this years tubers. We've only taken this plot on recently so dont know many fellow plothoders yet - but I reckon that might be the way to go - would Jerusalems suit some sort of container do you think? Might be a way to curb any rampaging tendencies?

2nd thoughts, I assume their height would rule out any sort of container arrangement
