Has anyone got one and are they easy to maintain? I'm quite tempted to get one.

You need two to get fruit. They need acid soil although you can grow them in pots with acid compost.

Very easy to maintain - some pruning needed in autumn other than that not much!

DD loves picking her own blueberries for breakfast!

I had one, briefly, then there was a vine weevil infestation and it was munched in two nights. It was quite pretty, you can get some that the leaves go a lovely colour in the autumn.

I'm mostly hopeless at gardening but my blueberry bushes are my pride and joy.

Two is best for pollination. They need acid soil so mine are in BIG containers in ericaceous compost. They didn't thrive for the couple of seasons in the border but now I get a good crop of blueberries every summer. They are surprisingly undemanding.

I hang up CD's to scare away birds when the fruit start coming, and the DCs are under threat of death not to pick off green berries.

Try the Dorset Blueberry Company or a good nursery.
