...are eating up my gooseberry bush! I've picked off what I can but they're quite hard to see and I'm sure I'm missing loads because when I whacked the bush with a stick (I know probably not very sensible) a load more fell off onto the ground.
Apart from picking them off by hand or using nematodes which are expensive and will probably have to be repeated later in the year, are there any other ways of getting rid of the little blighters?
Or do I just have to give up on the gooseberry bush - this is the third year running it's happened
