Growhouses

Has anyone bought a growhouse recently?

I bought a Gardman 4-tier one a week ago and it collapsed under the weight of a few seed trays! Needless to say it has been returned to the shop! Apparently, Gardman have changed their design and the new one isn't as sturdy as the one my parents bought from them about 10 years ago. Unfortunately they're using theirs! The new one has more plastic and less sturdy metal!

Any recommendations please?

I bought one from Aldi a few weeks ago. It's holding up well with large trays on every shelf right now.

Thanks. What was the brand, Snorkle? Is it all metal framed or is there some plastic at the joints?

There are plastic joints, so it may well degrade over time. I'll look in the morning for the make.

Make is Gardenline. It says specially produced for Aldi stores by: connex Warenandel GmbH & Co.

I bought the Aldi one (Gardenline) a few weeks ago and it is fabulous. It is very robust as it withstood the stormy weather we had a couple of weeks ago. I am using all the shelves with my trays of seedlings too.
