how do i kill and evil rose plant

that keeps coming up in my hedge year after year. can't get to the roots as they're all mixed in with the hedge.

cut it down as far to ground level as you can and pull out the branches and then spray glyophosphate on the stump, spray any new shoots as well, repeat till no more appear
