eucalyptus tree...help and advice please

I have a eucalyptus tree in my garden. Not sure how old it is but i have lived here for 5 years. It has never been pruned as we do not know how to do this.
It is now very tall and thin.
We need to prune it and would like as much advice as possible in how to do this.

it is about 15 metres high maybe more

we do want to prune it but not sure to what height and how will the pruning affect what the tree looks like

my dh will do it i just know he will he did used to prune??? trees or should i say hack them down he wasnt a tree surgeon but as past of his old work he had to get some sort of er cert to use chainsaws on trees so i know he will get up there and do it
