Book on storing veg for an enthusiatic veggie growing beginner

DP has just established a veggie patch in the garden and is very keen to grow lots of fruit & veg.

He already has lots of very good 'growing vegetable' books but I would like to get him a book on how to store the veg he has grown eg. what can be frozen, how to prolong the life of picked vegetables & fruit.

Any advice greatfully received!

Worth taking a look at your local library and also Amazon. I had a search through a Amazon marked a few I liked and then went to the library to see what they have. Our library is online so you can see where the books are at which local library adn you should be able to order them to your local library.

Would save you some money.

Also have a look at [www.bbcgoodfood.com goodfood] website as they have some ideas.
Try looking for freezer books and chutneys/jams, Alan Titchmarsh for veg etc.
