Cat poo driving me nuts, any tips?

Can't get a sonic thingy as we have a cat. ALL the neighbours' cats crap over our lawn and beds - horrible when the DC are playing out there and treading in it. I have tried pepper dust (useless), scent off spray (likewise) - the only thing that worked was the scent off gel stuff but SO expensive and needs doing all the time! Anyone found a good non-sonic deterrent?

apparantly leaving slices of lemon outgets rid as cats dont like smell

watching this with interest- not other people's cats but our very own darling poos in our flowerbeds then kicks it around the patio areas when she "tidies" afterwards. DS2 will probably be walking by summer so also need to get this rectified.

Are you near a zoo? Can you get hold of any big-cat poo (pref dried out a bit) - spreading this around works a treat.

Yes, I had heard orange & lemon peel was good so I will distribute a veritable fruit salad of peel around the grass. I have just hosed down DS welly boots for the umpteenth time - what a stench!! Keeo those ideas coming.

Perardua, I'm not too far from a zoo, will give them a ring and see if they'll let me have some tiger faeces! Great tip, thanks.

Cayenne pepper. Sprinkle it around liberally when it's dry and it should do the trick. Reapply after rain, if necessary. It's rid my garden permanently of cats and their poo.
