I've got 2 trees (a Ceanothus and the other I can't identify) that really took a hit in the recent snow. All leaves on both have turned brown and gone crispy. They look dead, but if I scrape the bark it is green.
I'm wondering if they will grow new leaves, or whether I need to chop down and replace. The Ceanothus is still quite bent over (collapsed under weight of snow), but the other one bounced back up.
