What can I plant in my 2 half barrels?

i think i would like to put flowers in them but what kind? previously put veg in them but now have allotment (yay!).

whaddya think?

A dwarf rose. Maybe sweetpeas or nicotina. Especially if you're planning to put them by a door or on a patio - something highly fragrant is the way to go.

Depeds where they are going to be, eg in the sun/shade, near a front or back door, if you will see them from the house etc?

Have put some spring bulbs in mine at mo - prob too late for that now. Lavender? Herbs?

had nasturtiums in one last year - are they self seeding? dug out all dead stems yesterday and found lots of seed type things - dug them back in so if am right then one pot is sorted

they are in back garden, against fence, vissible from house, lots of sun there for half the day.

something else that trails would be nice perhaps?
