Ooh feels like spring!

Sun shone, it wasn't freezing, I put compost on veg bed, turned other compost into empty bin, weeded herbs, cleared brassica bed where mole has been working hard (under the snow!), and heeled in some lovely japanese anemones that a friend gave me.

Feel GOOD!

Doesn't feel like spring here.

I spent all day in the garden yesterday even though some snow still about.The sun was out and it felt a little spring like.
I haven't done much for ages because of flu, cold etc.
I felt great although I ache all over from the unaccustomed activity.

we have a woodpecker down the road.

It's always the first sign of spring when he starts pecking away. He's been there about a week now
