Is it too late to plant bulbs?

I hope not!

I have tulips, daffodils and bluebells and would like to buy Allium (sp?) too. Can I plant them this weekend? Does it make a difference whether it is pots or in the ground?

TIA xx

I would say give them a go - you have them already ad it's not as if you can keep the bulbs for next year anyway. I have a bag of daffodil bulbs that somehow got left out of our planting and they say they can still be planted in Dec. I'm planning to plant them tomorrow.

I'm not sure about Allium though - I had a note in my diary to plant those earlier on in the year (and I missed it).

I haven't got mine in yet . Given that they are sitting on top of my microwave and definitely won't grow there, I am still planning to get them in and give them a go!

I planted mine a while back, they are growing already!
