Lawn is a mess, should i seed it or returf it ?????

It is a complete load of crap. When we moved inlast year i wasn't too bothered as all we wanted was a garden and thats what we got.

However the lawn is trashed, last residents had a bonfire and the grass is struggling to regorw there at all, and the whole thing is very very patchy and muddy.

So do i put seed on it or would i be better to start from scratch with new turf ????

Budget by the way is £0 as it is with every project in our house

I've just bought some Canada Green grass seed - recommended by quite a few Mumsnetter's, I bought it in Homebase.

Apparently, it grows fast and thick - what I need for my poorly lawn.

Hmmm sounds good, might give it a whirl and see how it goes

Yes, worth trying rather than face the expense of returfing.
