When? and how? do i grow sunflowers for this year???

Buy some seeds, theres loads of different varieties. Best to plant during April-June. I start them off in yoghurt pots with some compost and water on a window sill (not sunny) and put the yogurt pots in clear plastic bags. When they have sprouted remove from the bags, keeping the soil moist. When they fill the pot, plant outside and watch em grow!

my seed packet says sow march-may in the ground where they are to flower and they will flower june-august. thats for the giant yellows.
