can anyone help me identify this plant?

I took a piece from friends garden but cant find it in any books.

It is succulent with fleshy oval/pointy leaf, it grows about 12" high, has leaves smooth and dark green on top and furry and purple underneath and purple stem. It has clusters of small pink flowers held above the leafy stem which open and close in the light. It is evergreen and spreads and seems to make good ground cover in shade/semi shade.

Really, really need a pic of it to identify for you.

How many petals on each flower?

How big are the leaves?

Is it growing in a pot or in a border?
