Should I move the sunflowers?

At the moment they are in a fairly sheltered spot (in pots) in my back yard. On the windowsill to be precise. There is hardly any wind, but no direct sunlight.

Should I move them to my front yard which gets loads of sunlight but a bit of wind?

Thanks

In the front in the sun but stake them so they don't fall over and put them in the ground not in pots or they will dry out

I've shoved canes in today and tied them loosely to the stems

I can't put them in the ground as its paved front and back and my actual garden is currently a work in progress - will just water them LOADS

cheers mate
