Can anyone identify this plant ?

A friend of mine gave me some roots of a plant from her garden. The problem is, she doesn't know what it is ! Can anyone help?

Chameleon plant (Houttunyia Cordata). It’s also known as a Fish Plant because it smells fishy/musty. Be careful, it can take over and is very difficult to get rid of.

Don’t plant it in the ground it’s an utter thug and will not be killed.

😆I can always plant it in a tin bucket like I do the mint !
