My sister was told that this plant in her garden is white forsythia which I’ve never heard of of 😳

Can anyone identify?

Does it smell nice? Looks like a Philadelphus to me.

Mock orange otherwise known aa philadelphus is my guess. Does it smell amazing?

Thanks all! She just got it from a friend and it has very few flowers, and she hasn’t smelled it yet.

She’s in North America so I can’t pop round 😊

I have one but have never taken close note of the flowers which have finished for this year.

Smells divine so I hope for her that it is it.
