Recommendations for a garden lopper

Can anybody recommend a good sturdy sharp lopper for tougher stems and branches that secateurs cant deal with. Thanks.

Wolf Garten. Was using these only the other day thinking what a good purchase they had been. Effective and not too heavy. Not cheap though. Have had them 5 years.

I prefer a ratchet anvil type for extra force rather than bypass, telescopic because I have a wisteria, and really rate these:

Less than half the price too (if you're lucky they might go down to £20, they've been around that price for years).

They do have a little gap between the two blades that you'll want to clean out/poke into with a chopsticks.

They sound very good too. And are quite a bit cheaper. Thanks very much. Still not got round to actually ordering any yet but I will.
