Shed size & Material

Sheds size / material
Any advice and experiance appreciated

I need to decide what size garden shed i want asap ie tonight.

My garden is not large 33ft x 17 wide so I do not want the shed to over take the space but I will want enough space to store a smallish lawn mower a few hand tools
Along with I odd bits such as cat carrier, box and tins of cat food
(Spares kept in stackable drawers ) large cooking oil, pack of toilet paper and a few extra tins of food .

Shed will probarly be placed in a corner one has neighbours tall tree which over hangs the fence and the other side has no trees just their shed near my fence.

South facing very hot garden but very windy autumn/ winter.
So any suggestions please on

Wood or plastic

Not sure if the plastic ones are stable enough in strong wind

Mine’s 6’x4’ and is just right. Also contains cat carriers, plant pots, random tools and a little lawnmower. Any smaller and I think it would feel like a box.
I think it’s pressure treated wood (I don’t like plastic) but I painted it black.

Yes i was thinking 6x4 or x 5 but wasnt sure if 4 would be too small .
Seen some lapland wood ones which has 25 yr guarantee for rot dont have to treat and door / window can be fixed either way .

Sheds get very hot. I wouldn't keep food in there.

I am thinking to get one with windows that can open & / or with air vent.
I have been using 2 keter storage sheds for years storing spare cat food, few tins of beans and the like along with cooking oil which has never ruined them so far, is wood more hotter than plastic sheds/ storage units do do you think.

Ps the base is now built i have gone for the smaller 6x4 size.
