Acanthus or cynara? Bear's breeches or artichoke?

It looks like acanthus to me, cynara is more of a grey-green colour and longer, thinner leaves

Now I have ordered 2 green globe artichoke plants from a different nursery 🤞and some phlox and sedum I did not need
