Help needed New plant that immediately started dying when planted

Can anyone help to identify this plant for me and give me any advice as to how to care for it

Thats just a leaf i think. Where is the rest of rhe plant?

It’s not a leaf. It’s the unopened flower of the plant that’s dying. The flower is similar in shape to a cone and it was flowering when I bought it but almost immediately began to die within days. I want to find out what happened because I’m usually good with plants

We need a picture of the whole plant, but at the moment it's almost certainly that it's too hot to plant things outside.

Is it a houseplant or for outside @Stormevey ? Where did you buy it from, was there no label? If it's dying that quickly when you've given it proper care I would think there would be some recourse with where you bought it from. Have you had a look at the roots?
