Peas advice

Hello all! I have some peas I want to plant out. I have a round barrel container or a trough. Which would you advise? Last year I had runner beans the barrel with like a cane teepee structure for support and they did well. Would the same suit peas? Or if I put them in the trough how would I support them? Two wooden supports either end and twine along the middle?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Whichever of your containers is the deepest would be best. Peas climb by attaching tendrils to supports so netting is good for them to climb up.

Which variety? They grow to very different heights so taller ones do well with a teepee, shorter ones just cling on to each other and hold up, or use a few twigs.

Agree trough and vertical netting would suit most.
