Is this Willowherb?

And if so does it flower or just put out leaves?
Trying to decide if I should pull it out.

Penstemon would be my guess?

I thought it was Rosebay Willowherb, but I'm not great with plants.

Edited to say, if it is then yes it will put out purple flowers.

Willowherb usually has wider leaves.

Could be guara or penstemon?

If you didn't plant it, it's probably willowherb rather than penstemon. I find the leaves are variable, there must be more than one strain.

Not willowherb. Willowherb doesn't do side branches further up the stem like the ones you see developing in your picture.
