Black Ash fence stain?

Hello 👋

Im looking to stain my fences black. They are rough sawn, no previous stain/paint on them.
Ive been looking at Cuprinol Ash Black.
I am looking for a black that doesn't look blue/purple/faded grey colour.
Does anyone know if Ash Black will give the soft matt slightly warm undertone leaning black I am looking for?

We use black ‘barn paint’ on our wooden gates and the garage which is clad in wood. It looks really good and lasts well.

I used the same stain on my fence last year (my fence was similar - hadn't been stained previously). I would say it's a true black - doesn't dry down to grey or purple tones. One year on it's still looking good.
