Am thinking of booking for next year - but will be travelling down from Scotland so will need to stay over probably so expensive.
Anyone been? Any tips?
Its fully booked now til mid August.

Yes, three times with different guides, all were excellent and very loyal to the King! It’s quite a small garden but beautifully maintained. I think at one point it had nine full time gardeners plus apprentices. The groups are small, you will need your passport for security purposes and you can enjoy tea and scones in the cafe at the end plus a visit to the shop. It’s a nice thing to do but slightly contrived.

Ok, thanks - hadn’t imagined it to be small - cost of trains and accommodation make it an expensive trip!

I’d still go if you have the opportunity, tickets are not available all the time and are limited. The tours are all guided and you can’t wander off by yourself which means you need to follow the pace of your group.

Do you know what size groups are?
