Pond plant identification

Can anyone help to identify this pond plant? I used Google lens which said it’s a cardinal flower but that doesn’t seem accurate to me.

It's looking a bit scabby, so not very easy to tell. Maybe let it grow for a few weeks, and it might be easier to identify when it has some fresh leaves.
