Hi

I have a friend who loves this plant in their garden.& wants to buy another but has lost the label & can't remember what it is. I thought a hypericum of some kind? But I can't find one that looks the same!

anyone??

Can anyone identify this plant for me?

I have a hypericum like that with pink berries but can't remember for the life of me what the cultivar name was! Possibly "Magical Beauty"?

If she cuts a few stems and sticks them in a glass of water , they are very likely to root within a couple of weeks.

Are all the gardeners having a long hot bath after a big day in the garden??

Does it smell? It looks like an eleagnus to me. Evergreen. Small insignificant blossom but the scent is incredible. Loads of different varieties. I would guess at something like 'limelight' but it looks as if there is a slight dusting of icing sugar on the leaves?

Hypericum x inodorum 'Magical Beauty' or 'Miracle Blossom' ...

CottageGate · 19/04/2026 20:13

I have this and it's called Hypericum 'Party Pink'.

I'll have a look at thise too. Unfortunately he has NO sense of smell & it's currently not in flower anyway.

That picture looks like tutsan to me. As far as I am concerned it is an evil weed, comes up all over the place in my garden and has very strong long roots!

Agoddessonamountaintop · 19/04/2026 23:00

It’s hypericum Magical Mystery; Zoe Woodward sells it and apparently it’s loved by florists.

The buds are pink but when they open they're yellow.

Oooh thank you, I have forwarded that one to him 🤞🏼🤞🏼

After a hack last year all photos go under review before posting. It usually takes a few minutes
