My cat loves it! Track everything with his eyes.

Oh I need to watch this. Thanks for the reminder!

I haven’t watched it yet but it does look good. We have a Hedgehog too. He used to live next door but he’s moved on. He does come back to visit though. He moved in when he was ridiculously small and was happy to let me feed him every night. I couldn’t believe how much he grew that first summer.

We love watching this, 5yr old loves seeing what the animals get up to!

It's my dog's favourite programme! She normally sleeps while I'm watching TV but for this she'll watch the whole thing 😃 It's really lovely, and is inspiring me to do more with my garden.

do you have a Hedgehog highway?

thinktoomuchtoooften · 02/05/2026 07:35

There is a gap under the gate at the bottom of the garden and another where a wall meets a fence. They come and go via these. We have 3 visiting.

Yes loving this series. We are rural and have lots of wildlife in the garden it's so fascinating knowing what they get up to. Really enjoy seeing the making of it too, how patient and inventive they have to be with the cameras.

Yes we are enjoying it as well . However , cynical old me knows that some of it is set up .
Obviously they have no idea a mouse is living under a large amount of leaves , fast asleep whilst they happen to come across it to film it .
Its a reflection of what is happening in those gardens .
