Plant ID please

Same old ritual. Weeding my beds and I’m not sure if this something I want or not!

Appreciate any help on what it is.

My plant app says it is willow herb.

Not a weed, looks healthy and grows pink flowers.

Its a keeper I think!

Willow herb, whilst pretty, is a weed in my garden. They self seed very prolifically and you end up with hundreds of them choking your other plants. The only thing in their favour is they pull up easily when they are a bit bigger.

It’s a prolific weed in mine, but easy to pull up.

I use "Picture this". The app has a picture of a green flower on it.

It is met with mixed views on here but I use it a lot and find it very helpful!!

It's a weed in my garden, definitely not a keeper! Seeds prolifically and would cover the garden borders if I didn't take it out.

The seeds explode when you touch the pod and spread everywhere. It is usually considered to be a weed but whether its a weed in your garden is up to you.

Willowherb is a wild plant that spreads everywhere and can become a total nuisance.

Rosebay Willowherb is not a keeper, definitely considered a weed.
