Is there such a thing as a private greenhouse?

our single garage from the 1980s needs to be knocked down. It’s my only private pottering space outside (row of high converted terraces so we are very overlooked). I’d rather have a greenhouse but (I)when I’m in it neighbours could see me and (ii) if I don’t keep it beautiful neighbours would have to look at the mess.

is there any kind of compromise?

I’d consider a hybrid summerhouse (30 - 40% of the space)/shed (25 - 20%)/greenhouse (remaining percentage) - so similar in appearance to an oversized potting shed. You’d have over half with a solid roof, and could add built in storage, to hide clutter, and a decent size greenhouse space.
