DT Brown seeds, anyone know what's going on?

Used them many times before, they produce a very spiffy catalogue, but my order (confirmed and paid for 19 January) has not arrived.

I emailed them last week, and posted a comment on their Facebook page, and they haven't replied or responded to either.

Wondering if anyone else has used them and had problems. There are quite a few negative comments on Facebook, so maybe give them a miss if you were tempted.

You just made me try to order a catalogue (I rarely order but love the pictures). It says "if you have not received a copy of our catalogue via our latest mailing we no longer offer the facility to request physical copies" - so that doesn't bode well.

My potatoes and shallots arrived last week. I’ve used them many times before with no problem. I’d imagine they have just stopped producing a physical catalogue.

I obviously haven't explained very well.

I have the catalogue, got it weeks ago. It's the seeds and seed potatoes I ordered that haven't arrived. I spent just over £30, they haven't sent me my stuff, haven't replied to my email and haven't responded to my Facebook comment and now I'm £30 down and will be late sowing my chillis and chitting my early potatoes.

I'm bloody hacked off and wondered if anyone else had had problems, and to advise people not to bother ordering from them.

Same busy period as every year. Same for everyone else, bit like Christmas for gardening suppliers. It's been three weeks, orders from other suppliers came in a few days. It's possible they have expanded or changed fulfilment, or maybe just a glitch.

Oh I just meant that if they can't afford to print catalogues anymore (dressed up as being carbon friendly), then it wouldn't surprise me that they're no longer able to fulfill orders.

They trade as DT Brown but their limited company is Greenregis - they're later than usual with filing their accounts and very close to the 15 Feb deadline. Their profit was about half in 2024 of what it was in 2023

Seems they're still actively responding on Trustpilot, so might be worth posting a review there.

Usually seeds are delivered very quickly so that's unusual. I ordered my potatoes in late August/ early September and they were delivered about 10 days ago. I assume they dispatch by date order, so if you have only recently ordered potatoes yours will be in the queue so to speak. Hope your order gets delivered soon.

They eventually replied to my query, it took nearly a week. They said there had been a glitch in the system and the order was now on its way.

It took another week for the veg seeds to arrive, and email said the potatoes would be despatched separately, no problems with that, then today another duplicate pack of seeds arrived and still no potatoes!
