Fig tree suddenly looking awful

Hi we planted a fug tree in a pot by our front door a few months ago and it was looking amazing but all if a sudden it looks awful . Could it be the cold ? Anything I should do ?

All the leaves fallen off? Looks like a dead stick? Yeah, we have one and it goes like that as soon as summer is over. But then comes back again in the spring.

It’s just doing its thing as winter approaches. I have an established fig tree that has shed every single leaf this week - last week it was yellow all over. It will be fine next summer,

They do loose all their leaves for winter. So assuming you mean all the leaves have turned yellowish and dropping? If so perfectly normal and they will reshoot in March. No need to do anything at all.

LOL it’s autumn. Fig trees are deciduous.
