Iris planting- yes or no?

My elderly father is an Iris pro, he’s separated some in the summer for me to plant in my garden. It was really special and I was so pleased about it. Started a new job and I’ve forgotten all about them. Just saw them in the shed Sunday night. Is it too late to plant? (It feels like a warm November here (London ish) and I have a very sunny patch they were aimed for.
if too late can I/ how do I store them for spring planting?

Yes just get them in now. I often dig loads up and separate in November whilst dormant.

Thanks @Shedmistress! Will get on it but it will have to be the weekend most likely now we are on to the ‘dark by the time work finishes’ stage of the year.
