Rose sawfly

Not sure what’s going for your rose,OP but I was dismayed to find a crow happily pecking away and eating the single flower bud of my new rose bush.

My roses have been decimated by some giant grub!!!!!! Some kind of moth caterpillar. I was too scared to take them off.

The leaf veins left with the remainder of the leaves completely eaten is absolutely typical of the damage done by the rose sawfly larvae. The adults mate on the rose stem and inject the stem with eggs. They then burst out of the stem and make their way to the leaves. You should also be able to see dried out splits on the rose stems as well. Photo of larvae attached.

Oh dear I have this in one of my roses, also a rambler. I suspected it was a sawfly 🙄

Is this something I can get rid of organically?

Thank you.
I’m going to spray it with rose clear. I generally try to avoid chemicals in my garden but I don’t want to lose this rose and it is being decimated.
