That means you have soil in your garden and it is damp enough for the fungi to fruit.

Can I get rid just by removing or will the spores still spread?

I've noticed way way more mushrooms this year than usual. Maybe something to do with the hot dry summer and then the recent rain?

It’s good! It’s basically mycorrhizal funghi which people buy granulated, in bulk for their soil! It helps tremendously with root formation. I’d leave them where they are unless you have pets (no idea if toxic to dogs/cats or not)

It isn’t anything to be embarrassed about, it’s a huge plus! It shows your soul is highly nutritious and fertile!

Amazing TBH - my neighbour dug up their garden and found the builders had dumped all the rubble in it so lucky I’ve got soil at all!
sadly I can’t grow anything but nice to know
